Dr. Schoonmaker has been refered to in the office as “Marcus Welby MD” because of his caring attitude to his patients.  Many times throughout each day he can be overheard informing his patients about all aspects of a relevant health issue.  His patients really appreciate the time he spends with them and they feel more at ease when they leave the office.  Dr. Schoonmaker received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences and his undergraduate degrees from the University of Irvine.  He has a family….and when possible enjoys a round of golf.

Beth Severy is Dr. Schoonmaker's right hand associate.  While she has particular skills in women's health issues, she is also particularly adept at urgent care matters based on experience in emergency rooms and "flight nurse" duties.
